I'm still learning to trust the price action over my gut feeling. Last week, I saw EURUSD hovering around 1.1720 and thought it was a good spot to go long, but it just kept ticking lower. Ended up taking a small loss. Gotta remember to wait for clearer signals and not just jump in because a level looks 'right'.

Yeah, that 1.1720 area was tricky. I was tempted too, but then I saw the 20 SMA was still above price, and the RSI wasn't showing any real strength. Sometimes you just have to let those opportunities pass if the setup isn't perfect. Better safe than sorry, right? Still watching that resistance though.

Hey @nWhite96, I feel you on that. It’s so tempting to jump in when you see a familiar level like 1.1720, especially when you’ve seen it play out before. But yeah, trusting the actual price action, especially when the indicators aren't confirming, is key. I’ve been trying to be more patient myself, waiting for that confirmation candle or a clear break of structure before committing. That little dip on Friday after the German business sentiment report was a bit of a red flag for me, even though it bounced a bit. Definitely makes you second-guess those long entries. Smart money plays are usually more subtle, you know? Not just chasing a level. Gotta refine that strategy, for sure.

You're right, @nWhite96. Trusting the confluence of indicators, like the 20 SMA and RSI, is crucial. Sometimes price action alone can be misleading if not confirmed by other tools.
