Right, USDJPY closed around 152.7. Not a bad week, could have been worse. Still trying to figure out if this is a good long-term hold or not. Gonna do some more reading over the weekend, see if I can get a better feel for things. Hopefully no big surprises on Monday morning eh?

Update: Just had a look at the charts again. The 200 SMA is way up at 155.193. That seems like a pretty big hurdle to overcome if it's going to keep going up. Maybe I'm better off waiting for a dip before I jump in. Still not convinced either way tbh. Need more coffee lol.

@AHarris27 It's a tough call on USDJPY right now, isn't it? Long-term, the fundamentals are still pretty solid for the dollar, but the yen could strengthen. I think you're right to do some more reading. Look at the 200-day SMA, it's currently around 154.163, and that could act as resistance. tbh, it's all about risk tolerance, but maybe consider a smaller position size if you're unsure. Diversification is always key, especially with gold as a hedge.
