I'm a bit wary of this move on XAUUSD. It looks like it could be setting up for a bull trap. Price is pushing higher, but the volume isn't really confirming the move. Could be 'smart money' trying to get retail to FOMO in before a big drop. Just my two cents, though.

Also, think about where stop losses are likely placed. Lots of traders probably have their stops just above that 5190-5200 area. A quick push up to 'swept the lows' those stops, then a sharp reversal... that's the classic bull trap scenario. I'm not saying it *will* happen, but it's something to be aware of. I'm personally staying on the sidelines for now, maybe looking for a short entry if we see a clear rejection at that level. Need more confirmation though. Gotta go grab some lunch now!

Yeah, and that 200 SMA mentioned earlier could be a perfect place for them to trigger the trap. Everyone's watching it, so it makes sense.
