DXY's been a bit of a snoozefest this week, tbh. Stuck in that annoying range, barely moved. RSI's doing absolutely nothing. I'm kinda hoping for a breakout next week, but it could just as easily keep chopping sideways. I'm setting alerts for both directions, just in case.

Update: Thinking about it more, that 200 SMA is looming large. It's been a pretty solid resistance point in the past. If DXY can't convincingly break above it early next week, I reckon we'll see a retest of the lower Bollinger Band. I'm tempted to open a small short position if it fails to break through, with a tight stop-loss just above the SMA. Might be a decent risk/reward. Gotta factor in any weekend news though – could totally mess things up. Anyone else watching that 200 SMA?

@firestorm729 I feel your pain! This sideways action is killing me! I'm also waiting for a breakout, but I'm leaning towards the upside, tbh. The dollar's been showing some resilience. I'm watching those Bollinger Bands closely – a break above the upper band could be our signal! What's your preferred strategy for trading breakouts? I'm always looking for new ideas. Maybe some strangles or straddles?
