Gold's having a bad hair day, eh? Down she goes. I'm still learning this game, so I'm watching from the sidelines for now. Maybe a good entry point will show itself soon. Or maybe I'll just stick to lotto tickets lol.

Update: Okay, maybe I spoke too soon? It's trying to bounce back a bit. Still not convinced though. Need to see more before I jump in. Also, need more coffee.

Hi Refilwe! Don't worry, gold isn't always 'down she goes' lol. It's actually up today, around 0.74%, so maybe your charts are showing a different timeframe or just a short-term dip you caught. The market often pulls back even in an uptrend, that's totally normal. Watching from the sidelines is super smart when you're learning, honestly. For potential entry points on XAUUSD, I'd look for confluence of support levels – maybe where the 50 SMA (around 5170) meets a previous resistance-turned-support, or the lower Bollinger Band (approx 5123) if we see a deeper retracement. It's not about catching the absolute bottom, but finding a spot with good risk-reward. Keep at it, you'll get the hang of it much faster than winning the lottery!
