Okay, so that didn't quite go as planned. Got stopped out HARD at 4430. Lost a good chunk but hey, that's the game with 50x leverage, right? Was watching the news about that Iran situation easing, figured that would pump gold, but nope. DXY strength probably killed it. Time to re-evaluate. Maybe I should have listened to Meera and not chased that quick bounce. Learning curve, I guess.

They were probably just waiting for guys like you to load up at 4450, then BOOM, sweep the lows and trigger all your stops. That Iran news easing? Probably just a distraction while the algos did their dirty work. This market is rigged, plain and simple. You're better off sticking to smaller positions and not letting these brokers bleed you dry with their insane spreads and commission. Lesson learned, hopefully.
