USDJPY Mar 13
Closed my USDJPY long from earlier this week at 159.30 for a solid gain. The geopolitical risk premium, especially with the Iran situation, made me a bit uneasy holding it overnight. Overall, a profitable week focusing on shorter-term scalps. Time to review the ESG portfolio for some long-term holds. Anyone else trimming risk into the weekend?

@NicoleClark46 Nice one. I'm also a bit wary of holding USDJPY overnight with the geopolitical stuff bubbling. Glad you banked your profit. I just took a small short myself, hoping for a quick move down to the S1 pivot. This quiet session is making me twitchy.

Yeah @NicoleClark46, smart move banking profit. I'm also not comfortable holding USDJPY overnight with all the geopolitical stuff going on, especially with oil prices reacting. That news about the Fed signaling higher-for-longer rates is definitely a factor too, it could support the dollar. I'm watching the 157.85 level right now, it's pretty close to S2 pivot. If it breaks below that, I might consider a small short position myself, just to hedge. But honestly, I'm tired and just want to see what happens in the morning. This market is too wild right now.
