I'm relatively new to this, but I've been looking at USDJPY lately. It seems like it might be a good opportunity to go long, but I'm also seeing some signals that suggest it could go the other way. I'm trying to figure out if the risk is worth the potential reward. What are some key indicators that more experienced traders use to determine the direction of USDJPY? Also, what's a good stop-loss strategy for someone just starting out? Any advice would be appreciated!

@moonrise71 Risk management is key. USDJPY is volatile. Before going long, consider the potential drawdown. Check the ATR (Average True Range) to gauge volatility. Set a stop-loss order based on your risk tolerance. Also, look at the correlation with other JPY pairs to get a broader view. Don't overleverage, especially when you're starting out. Small positions are better to manage the risk. Good luck!
