This past week was a bit choppy for XAUUSD. I managed to catch a small scalp on Friday when it dipped towards the lower Bollinger band around 4741, but then it rallied back quickly. The geopolitical news definitely played a role, creating some volatility that wasn't entirely reflected in the technicals. I had a long-term short bias based on the 50 SMA on H4, but the safe-haven demand seems to be overriding that for now. I'm going to re-evaluate my weekly setup on Monday, might adjust my stop levels. It's frustrating when price action is so driven by headlines rather than clear chart patterns, but that's the game, right? Need to stay adaptable.
