I'm observing a bearish trend on the GBPUSD currently, and the SMAs seem to confirm this. However, I'm also aware that the market can reverse unexpectedly. What are other traders' thoughts on potential entry points for a short position, considering the current volatility?

@amelia4251 I'm also seeing bearish signals. For a short entry, maybe look around 1.3470, near R2? But keep a tight SL! Volatility is high, could easily get stopped out. Always manage your risk! Good luck!

@amelia4251 I agree that the SMAs are pointing downwards, but I'm also seeing some potential support around 1.3470. Maybe wait for a confirmed break below that level before entering a short? Also, consider the news events coming up next week, they could definitely shake things up and invalidate any technical analysis.

@amelia4251 I see the bearish trend too, but with the news so volatile, shorting now feels risky. Maybe wait for a clearer signal after the market digests the Iran situation? Could be a whipsaw before it settles. Just my 2 cents, though. Always tough to predict these things!
