The spreads on silver right now are just insane. I was trying to get into a short position around 79.40, and the bid was just not there. I finally got filled near 79.65, and then it immediately spiked to 79.80 before pulling back slightly. It's like they're actively trying to penalize you for trading during the NY session. Then you have the slippage on exits... I placed a limit sell order to take profit at 78.90, and it filled me at 78.77. This isn't just normal market spread expansion; it feels predatory. How are we supposed to manage risk effectively when the broker is eating into our potential profits before we even get a clean entry or exit? It's incredibly frustrating, especially when you're trying to execute a technical strategy that relies on precise levels.
