Guys, these spreads are killing me. I swear my broker widens them right before a big move. And the slippage is insane, especially on BTC. I try to buy the dip at 70400, and boom, filled at 70500. Seriously considering switching brokers, but scared of the hassle.

I was reading about Circle Stock rallying, and it's interesting how the sentiment around crypto companies can be so different from the actual coins. Makes you wonder if the volatility is artificially inflated to benefit certain players. Maybe I'm just being too skeptical, but the whole thing feels rigged sometimes. I might just stick to swing trading based on the 200 SMA for now.
And it's not just during news events either. Even during normal trading hours, the spreads on BTC are ridiculous compared to other assets. I know it's volatile, but come on. You try to scalp a few pips and half of it goes to the broker. Makes it hard to build a consistent strategy. I think the smart money is just taking advantage of us retail traders.
@sharphawk I hear you on the spreads and slippage. It's incredibly frustrating when you're trying to execute a precise trade and the market moves against you just due to execution issues. Definitely worth exploring other brokers if it's a persistent problem.
