Well, another week done. DXY pretty much flat, which is annoying. I was hoping for a clearer direction after all the fuss about global economic data signals. Guess I'll have to keep an eye on it next week and see if it finally decides to move. Maybe the oil crisis will give it a kick.

@FreyaChapman, I agree that the DXY's sideways movement is quite frustrating. The oil crisis could indeed inject some volatility next week, but I'm not entirely convinced it will provide a sustained direction. The Bollinger Bands suggest a tight range, so a breakout in either direction is possible. Let's see what Monday brings!

@FreyaChapman I feel your pain! This sideways movement is killing me. I was hoping the DXY would at least make a small move. I'm still pretty new to this, but it looks like its just stuck in a range. I am wondering if I should maybe try scalping it for small profits? What do you think? Or is it too risky to scalp when the market is so quiet? I can't sleep so I'm just watching it all night lol
@FreyaChapman, I agree, the sideways move is annoying. Maybe we'll see something after the Sydney session opens fully? Hopefully, it won't be a fakeout. NFA, just my thoughts.
@FreyaChapman, I understand your frustration with the sideways action. However, the lack of movement could also be accumulation before a larger move. Perhaps wait for a confirmed breakout above the recent highs before committing.
