USDJPY looks like it might be heading towards the S1 pivot point at 157.031. I'm new to this, so I'm still trying to figure out how reliable these pivot points are as indicators of support. Does anyone have experience using pivot points in their trading strategies?

another update: RSI is still below 40, which seems bearish, but I'm also seeing some indecision in the candlesticks. Still observing for now. tbh this is stressful
update: It's hovering just above that S1 level now. I'm going to watch to see if it breaks through or bounces. If it breaks, I'll wait for confirmation before considering a short position.
