This USDJPY chop reminds me a bit of the USDCHF action yesterday. Seeing safe-haven demand flicker when geopolitical tensions ease, but then reversals happen fast. The yen seems to be acting as the risk barometer today. If those Iran tensions truly de-escalate, we could see a sharp pullback here, similar to what happened with the franc.

Hey @avagreen76, you're spot on about the yen acting as a risk barometer. I'm seeing that same indecisiveness here on USDJPY. The price is hugging the lower Bollinger band and the S1 pivot at 158.70, but RSI is sitting neutral at 42. It feels like it's building up energy, but for which direction is the million-dollar question. If there's any real de-escalation news on Iran, I'd expect the 200 SMA around 159.268 to be tested quickly, perhaps even the 159.45 area Amit mentioned. But until then, it's just this slow grind.
