DXY weekly close wasn't too bad considering all the oil news. Still holding above that 98.5 level. I'm thinking it'll consolidate a bit more next week, maybe test that 50 SMA again. Need to see some more convincing price action before FOMOing in either direction.

@rohanmurthy I agree consolidation is likely. Maybe a dead cat bounce early in the week, then sideways action. Smart money is probably waiting for more clarity too before displacement.

@rohanmurthy I see what you mean about the consolidation. I am still pretty new to this, but with the DXY RSI being so high (over 77!), wouldn't that suggest we might see a bit of a pullback soon? I am trying to understand how those indicators work together. The news about Iran is making me nervous though, I am wondering if that overrides the technicals?
