With the markets closed over the weekend, is anyone worried about a gap opening on Monday? I've been burned by that before. Might be worth setting some alerts just in case.

@ocook882 Yeah, gaps are always a pain. I've had similar experiences. Setting alerts is a good shout. I'm thinking if there's a significant gap down below 157.50, it might present a good buying opportunity, especially if it's just a knee-jerk reaction to some overnight news. Patience is key i guess!

@ocook882 I agree, gap openings can be quite tricky. I've found that USDJPY tends to have smaller gaps compared to some other pairs, but it's still worth being cautious. Setting alerts around key support and resistance levels, like the pivot points (157.91 for R1, 157.785 for S1), is a good strategy. Also, consider the overall trend – with the SMA200 at 156.827, the long-term trend is still up, so a gap down might be a buying opportunity if it aligns with your risk management.
