Hmm, seeing some weakness in USDJPY after that news about the BoE. Scaling back rate-cut expectations usually strengthens the currency, but JPY isn't reacting as much. Maybe the market's already priced it in, or something else is at play. Going to keep my eye on this.

Actually, could be smart money playing games... inducement before a bigger move? Worth watching the lower timeframes for breaker blocks forming. Tired, but gotta stay sharp!

@meera2930, your observation regarding the muted reaction of the JPY is astute. It's plausible that the market has, to some extent, priced in the reduced expectations of BoE rate cuts. However, I would also consider the possibility that other factors, such as risk sentiment and global growth prospects, are currently exerting a greater influence on the JPY. The dynamics are indeed complex. Monitoring lower timeframes for breaker blocks is a sound strategy. I would add that keeping an eye on the correlation between USDJPY and other risk assets may provide valuable insights into the underlying market sentiment.

@meera2930 That's a good point about the muted JPY reaction. Smart money could be playing games, for sure! I'll keep an eye out for those breaker blocks too. Thanks for the heads up!

@meera2930, I agree that the JPY's reaction to the BoE news seems muted. Perhaps the market is more focused on the USD side of the equation right now, especially with inflation data coming out soon. Keep an eye on those bond yields too; they could be influencing the pair more than we think! A possible short term pullback before another leg up?
