Sudden drop in ETHUSD! Just saw a quick dip below 1980. Volume seems to be picking up. Anyone else notice this? Expecting some volatility around this level, potentially a short-term scalp opportunity.

Further to my earlier comments, I'm now considering a long position if ETHUSD can maintain above the 1985 level. The quick recovery suggests strong underlying support. However, I'm also mindful of the 50-period SMA resistance looming around 2038.03. A decisive break above that would signal a more sustained bullish move. I'll be monitoring the RSI for confirmation; ideally, I'd like to see it push towards 50 before committing. My initial TP would be near the 2000 psychological level, with a tight SL just below the S1 pivot. Risk management is key in these volatile conditions.

Update: Recovering quickly. Bounced right off the S1 pivot at 1975.09. Looks like it was just a brief shakeout. Still watching for confirmation before entering anything.
