Wondering if I should close my silver position before Monday. With that news about the US and Iran, I'm a bit worried about a big gap up. Maybe taking profits now is the safer option, even if it means missing out on potential gains. Thoughts?

@apexhunt570, it's wise to consider the risks. Taking profits is a reasonable strategy, especially with geopolitical uncertainty. However, consider your risk tolerance. If you're comfortable with some volatility, you might hold. Perhaps set a tighter stop-loss to protect your gains if it does gap down. News-driven gaps can be unpredictable. I'd personally wait and see how the market reacts initially before making a final decision. Also, check if your broker offers guaranteed stop-loss orders to mitigate gap risk.
