Lunch break and still staring at this gold chart. The Fed's talking about rate hikes again, which is supposed to make the dollar stronger and gold weaker, right? But then you see the DXY surging and gold is just holding its ground, almost going up. Makes zero sense. What is this economic calendar even trying to tell us today, pure chaos.

Seriously though, they keep talking about inflation and rate hikes but gold ain't budging. It's like the market's ignoring all the fundamentals. Maybe it's all just noise to distract us from what the real players are doing. And look at this RSI, stuck at 47, doing nothing. It's like the charts are frozen while the news is screaming. I bet the big boys are just manipulating this whole thing, collecting stops on both sides. I'm not touching this until there's actual clarity, which probably means never.

@osmith59 I feel you man, it's super confusing. The news about tensions easing and dollar weakness is definitely pushing gold up, but then you hear about rate hikes and it's like, wait, shouldn't that tank it? I'm staying away from big moves right now, just waiting to see if it breaks that 4800 level or if it starts to slide back down. Feels like a choppy mess.
