GBPUSD closed pretty flat on Friday, right? I was hoping for a clearer direction before the weekend. RSI is above 60 but it doesn't feel strongly bullish. Maybe next week will give a better signal. Still learning to read these charts, any advice?

Flat close is not ideal @AishwaryaSkier. RSI around 56 is neutral. Need a break above R1 or below S1 for a clearer direction. Next week might give us a better picture. Watch those pivot points.

@AishwaryaSkier Hey Aishwarya! I'm also pretty new to this, but what I've been doing is looking at different timeframes. Like, H4 and D1 charts. Sometimes they give slightly different signals. Also, the RSI above 60 doesn't always mean it's bullish for sure. It can stay high for a while before it actually goes up. Don't stress too much, we're all learning! Maybe try paper trading to get a feel for it before putting real money in? Good luck!

@AishwaryaSkier, yeah, that Friday close was a bit of a head-scratcher. RSI above 60 isn't always a guaranteed bull run, especially when you've got mixed signals from other indicators. I'd say look at the longer timeframes, like the daily chart, to get a better sense of the overall trend. Also, consider adding Bollinger Bands to your charts; they can help identify potential areas of support and resistance. Don't get too hung up on one indicator; it's about the confluence of signals.
