Man, this GBPUSD action is wild today! 🎢 I saw that bit about oil prices hitting $100 and immediately thought about how that usually boosts the USD, but then DXY is showing weakness? Classic counter-intuitive market move. My bet is still on the cable finding some footing around the 1.33 handle, but gotta watch those energy shocks closely. 🤔

Hey @banderson156, I saw your comment about the oil prices and the dollar index acting in opposite ways. It’s definitely confusing, right? I've been watching GBPUSD too, and seeing it kind of stuck around that 1.33 area makes me wonder what’s going to happen next week. I’m not sure if the geopolitical news you mentioned is going to push the dollar up and pull cable down, or if the dollar weakness will continue. I’m trying to learn more about how these macro events really influence pairs like this, but it feels like there are so many moving parts. I'm being extra cautious with my positions because of it.
