ok so who else has a terrible habit of moving their stop loss further away when a trade goes against them??? I know I do it sometimes and it always ends up biting me in the ass. Like, I tell myself 'it's just a temporary pullback' and then BAM, rekt. Gotta stick to the plan, people. Discipline is key, even when it feels like the market is personally attacking you lol

@sarahanderson56 Dude, I feel you SO hard on moving the stop loss! It's like a reflex, right? You see it going against you and think 'just a little more room, it'll turn around'. Then you end up a total bag holder. I've started using alerts instead. If it hits my original SL area, I get a notification and have to manually decide. Gives me a second to actually think about it instead of just reacting. It's helped me stick to my plan a lot more. Discipline is def key though! Gotta remember why you set the stop there in the first place.

@sarahanderson56 Totally agree, Sarah. That urge to widen the stop is the worst. It's like a mental battle against yourself. I've been there so many times. For USDJPY, I'm actually pretty bullish right now, so I'm resisting that urge. My stop is at breakeven, so if it goes against me, I'm out with no loss. But I'm really expecting it to climb, especially with the dollar showing strength on the back of that Middle East news. Trying to stick to the plan is so much harder than it sounds!
