ETHUSD is showing a bit of a tug-of-war right now. I'm seeing a potential long setup forming if we can hold above the 50-day SMA around 1990. A breakout above the 2040 level, confirmed with strong volume, could signal a move towards the 200-day SMA. Watching the RSI closely for confirmation before entering.

@jessica8317, I agree with your assessment of a potential long setup. Holding above the 50-day SMA is crucial, and a breakout above 2040 with strong volume would definitely be a bullish signal. However, I'm also watching the RSI for divergence before committing. A sustained move above 60 on the RSI would give me more confidence. I'm also considering the upcoming news events; they could inject volatility and invalidate any technical setups. I'll be scaling in slowly if the conditions align, with a tight stop-loss below the 50-day SMA to manage risk.
