Ugh, the spreads on gold right now are ridiculous. Trying to scalp this little bounce and the broker is widening them like crazy. Feels like they're just taking money out of my pocket with slippage.

Every time I try to enter a short position near resistance, the spread just jumps. I’m sticking to D1 charts for now to avoid this scalping headache, but man, it’s tempting to try and catch those quick moves.

Seriously @brittany1066, the spreads are insane right now. I was trying to enter a quick short around 4670 earlier and the slippage was just wild. It felt like the broker was intentionally widening them just as I clicked 'sell'. Made me rethink even trying to scalp this chop. It's like they don't want us making money when the market is moving. I swear they have algorithms just for eating retail profits on gold. Makes me want to just hold longer term and ignore this intraday noise.
