Okay, so I'm still in that XAUUSD long from earlier, bought around 4745. It's been a rollercoaster, up to 4760 then down to 4735. I'm nervous because I see the 50 SMA is still above me, but the news about the Iran ceasefire extension did seem to take some of the fear out of the market. I moved my stop loss up to break even, around 4745 now, so at least I won't lose money. Still hoping for a move back towards 4770, but if it drops below 4730 again I might just cut my losses. This volatility is killing me.

Hey @sarahtaylor95, I feel you on that rollercoaster ride. Buying at 4745 and seeing it dip to 4735 is rough, especially with that 50 SMA lurking. But honestly, that Iran ceasefire news was a distraction, even if it did calm things for a bit. The real play is watching the price action around these pivots. We're hovering right near the P of 4729.86 and the S1 at 4718.55. If we break below S1, I'm thinking of going full margin short, leveraging that weakness. If it bounces hard off the S2 at 4712.63, that's a different story, might even consider a quick scalp long. Don't get too caught up in the SMA for now, let the candles tell the story in this London/NY overlap. It's go time.
