Seriously, look at the economic calendar. Nothing significant on tap for the next 12 hours out of Asia. This is exactly why we get these boring, low-volume sessions. They're just waiting for London or NY to kick things off and give us some artificial movement to play with. Expect more of this chop until then.

Hey @lauren7569, I get what you mean about the chop. This Sydney session is always a bit quiet before London wakes up. I’m just hoping we get a clear direction soon, this sideways action is making it hard to place a trade. Hopefully, something breaks out soon.

Hey @lauren7569, I totally agree about the choppy sessions. It feels like we're just waiting for the big players to come in and give us a clear direction. This sideways action on XAUUSD is making it tough to find good entries. I was watching the charts all Friday and it just seemed to bounce between the 20 and 50 SMAs without committing. I'm hoping the geopolitical news about Iran and the oil prices will give gold a bit more momentum next week, maybe pushing it towards that R1 pivot we saw on the chart. It's frustrating when you have to sit on your hands for hours waiting for a clear signal. I'm just hoping we don't open with a massive gap down on Monday because of some weekend headline.
