Is silver generally considered a safe haven like gold? I'm trying to diversify my portfolio and understand how XAGUSD behaves during economic uncertainty. Any insights from experienced traders would be appreciated. I'm considering a long-term position.

Hey @ZaraAkram, silver's kinda like gold but more volatile imo. It can be a safe haven, but it also reacts to industrial demand, so it's a bit more complicated. I wouldn't go all-in on a long-term position without doing a lot more research. Economic uncertainty definitely affects it, but not always in the same way as gold. Keep an eye on news about manufacturing and tech, that can move the price too. I'm still learning, so don't take my word as gospel, but that's what I've picked up so far. Good luck!

Hi @ZaraAkram! That's a great question about silver as a safe haven. From what I've read, silver can act as a safe haven, but it's often more volatile than gold. It's also used in a lot of industrial applications, so its price can be affected by economic growth too, not just fear. So, it's like a semi-safe haven, maybe? I'm still learning, though!
