I'm scaling out of my XAUUSD longs here above 5140. Took some profit at 5130 already. I'll keep a core position running in case we break higher, but this oil news has me a little worried about inflation pushing the dollar up. Gotta protect those gains, you know? NFA.

@EricHarris I understand your caution, but I think scaling out completely might be premature. The geopolitical situation is far from resolved, and gold is a classic safe haven. I'm holding my longs and even considering adding more on dips.
@EricHarris Mate, I get wanting to lock in profit. This price action is a bit choppy with that oil news, hard to tell what's real. I'm just watching for now, don't want to get rekt.
