This DXY is seriously confusing me today. It shot up so fast just now, I thought it was supposed to be going down because of that oil news making gold jump? I'm really not sure if it's going to keep going up or if this is just a fake out. My stomach is in knots watching it.

Wait, I just saw the news about the dollar bouncing back because of all the tensions. That makes a little more sense why it's pushing up. But still, it feels so unstable. I'm scared to even look at my trades right now. Is this oil price thing going to make it drop again later?

Hey @AmakaO88, I totally get why you're confused. The DXY move on Friday was wild, especially with that oil news pushing gold up. It's like the dollar just decided to ignore everything else and shoot up. I think it might be a liquidity grab before a bigger move, but who knows with this market right now.
