Just opened a small long position on XAUUSD at 5176. Saw that bounce off the 50 SMA and couldn't resist. Stop loss is tight, around 5170... this volatility is making me sweat a bit. Hoping it pushes up to retest 5185 soon!

Played out like i expected btw, nice 😄
And now I'm thinking of moving my stop loss up to 5173 to lock in some profits... this move is looking pretty good so far. Volume seems to be picking up too, which is encouraging. Still, gotta be careful with gold... it can turn on a dime. I'm also watching the DXY closely; any weakness there could fuel another leg up for XAUUSD. Thinking about taking partial profits at 5182 if we get there. Might be a liquidity grab above 5185 before a bigger move. Let's see what happens...

@jessicajones73 Nice trade! That 50 SMA bounce looked promising, but I'm hesitant with all the dollar strength news. I'm watching the 5000 level closely for a potential short entry if it breaks.
