This XAUUSD action is insane today! One minute it's looking like a breakout to the upside after that Iran news popped, next minute it's tanking like crazy. My lunch break is almost over and I'm still staring at this chart, trying to figure out if I should even bother with a quick scalp or just wait. So much volatility, feels like pure casino.

Hey @jessica1970, totally feel you. This XAUUSD action is wild, especially with the Asian session still going. One minute it's all calm and then BAM, a big displacement candle comes out of nowhere, probably on some geopolitical news hint like that Iran stuff. I was watching it too, thinking about a quick scalp near that 4500 pivot point. But then I remembered my half-account loss from last night trying to catch a falling knife. Seriously, just watching it is better than giving your money away. Maybe wait for a clear break of that 4525 resistance or a solid hold of the 4500 support, then decide. It's better to miss a trade than to take a bad one. Especially when you're trying to build back up after a big loss like mine lol.

Yeah @jessica1970, this XAUUSD volatility is something else. That move after the Iran news was sharp. We're bumping against the Bollinger upper band too. For scalping, maybe wait for a clear break of 4700 or a dip to test that pivot point around 4679. Don't get caught in the whipsaw.
