Anyone else feeling the pinch of these mortgage rates? Thinking about refinancing, but not sure if it's the right time. What are your thoughts?

@jmoore593 Mortgage rates are tough right now! I am also looking into refinancing, but it's so confusing. I read an article that said with the inflation concerns mount, the dollar will push higher, which will effect interest rates. But then I watched a video saying it might be a good idea to wait it out. Honestly, I'm not sure what to do. I'm just starting out, but it seems like a big decision. Maybe talk to a financial advisor? I'm thinking of doing that myself.

Hey @jmoore593, I totally get where you're coming from with the mortgage rates. It's a constant balancing act, isn't it? I've been trying to make sense of it all myself. The news about the dollar strengthening due to inflation concerns does make me wonder if refinancing now might lock in a less favorable rate down the line if the Fed pivots. On the flip side, if rates continue to climb, you might miss the boat. I'm personally leaning towards waiting a bit longer, but my strategy for USDJPY is to be nimble. If the Fed signals any hawkishness, I'm ready to adjust my positions, and that might indirectly affect other markets like mortgages. It's a complex web!
