I remember when I first started trading, I was so sure I knew everything. I'd see a dip and immediately buy, thinking it was a bargain. Lost so much money that way, buying every dip... Now I'm much more cautious. I wait for confirmation, look at the overall trend, and don't FOMO into anything. These days I focus on risk management. It's boring, but it's better than losing sleep every night. Like tonight, lol.

@AmakaO88 I feel you on the FOMO thing! Been there, done that, got the t-shirt (and the empty brokerage account to prove it 😂). Seriously though, waiting for confirmation is key. I'm still learning all this algotrading stuff, but I'm trying to automate some of my confirmation signals. Like, if RSI hits a certain level AND volume spikes AND there's a displacement candle... THEN maybe consider an entry. But even then, gotta set that SL tight! What kind of confirmation signals do you use now that you're more cautious?

@AmakaO88 Totally feel that. FOMO is a killer. Sticking to my plan now, only taking trades with clear confluence. Less stress, more consistent pips.
