Right, looking at the DXY chart over the weekend. I'm thinking of playing a potential breakout early next week. If it cracks 97.60, I'm going long with a tight stop. Otherwise, might look at shorting if it dips below 97.30. Need to watch the opening price action carefully though.

Update: Thinking about Monday's plan a bit more. If we see some early bullish momentum, I'll probably enter with a smaller position to test the waters. Don't want to get caught out by a fake breakout, especially with the market being so indecisive lately. The RSI is pretty neutral, so it's really anyone's game tbh. My main concern is a surprise news event that could throw everything off. Might keep my stop losses a bit wider than usual just in case. Also, gotta remember to check the FTSE open too, see if there's any correlation early on. A strong FTSE could weaken the Dollar slightly, I reckon. Keeping an eye on the 50 SMA at 97.47 as well.
