This DXY action reminds me of early 2023, before that big run-up. We had a period of consolidation, then a fake breakdown below support, which turned out to be a massive inducement for shorts. Smart money stepped in and pushed it way higher. Now, we're seeing a similar pattern forming. A lot of people are calling for a dollar crash, but I think they're going to be wrong. I'm not saying it's guaranteed to repeat, but the similarities are uncanny. I'm watching for a break above 99.00 to confirm my bias. SL placed tight though, just in case.

@DBrown65 That's an interesting comparison to early 2023. I hadn't thought about it that way. I'm always a bit wary of fake breakdowns, especially when the overall trend is up. Could definitely be a trap for shorts. I'm going to keep a close eye on volume to see if there's any confirmation of smart money stepping in. Thanks for sharing your perspective!
