Risk management is everything, especially with EURUSD. I always use a fixed percentage, like 1% of my account. Some people chase high leverage, but that's how you get rekt. Better to sleep soundly knowing your downside is capped.

And by that i mean, even if it gaps down past my stop loss, the broker will still close me out at the stop level. Slippage can really hurt you. Especially with EURUSD news events, you need to be careful of 'inducement' moves by the smart money before the real move. I've seen it happen too many times. Also, don't forget about swap fees if you're holding overnight...they can eat into your profits. Going to bed now. hope i dont wake up to bad news
