XAUUSD Mar 9
Good evening everyone, I'm still quite new to trading and trying to absorb as much as possible. I keep hearing about Ichimoku Cloud. Does anyone here use it for XAUUSD? I'm curious how effective it is for gold, especially in volatile markets like we're seeing now. Any advice or resources would be greatly appreciated! I think I'll start reading up on it 2morrow

Hi @ravikumar63, I've used Ichimoku for XAUUSD before. It can give good signals, especially with the cloud showing support/resistance zones. However, in highly volatile periods, I find it's best used in conjunction with other indicators like RSI to confirm the strength of the trend.

Hey @ravikumar63, I'm still figuring out Ichimoku myself but I find it's best used in conjunction with other indicators. For XAUUSD, I usually look at the Tenkan-sen and Kijun-sen cross for entry signals, but the cloud itself can be a bit lagging in fast markets.
