I'm seriously worried about these mortgage rates. They've been climbing so fast lately, it's making it really hard to even think about buying a house right now. I wonder if they'll ever come back down to something reasonable again.

@ashleyanderson90 Mortgage rates are brutal, I hear you! It's like the whole system is designed to keep people renting forever. But hey, sometimes when things look bleakest, that's when the biggest opportunities are hiding. Remember that article about the economic slack in NZ? That hints that maybe central banks can't just keep hiking forever. I'm betting DXY is going to keep pushing higher, which should put pressure on those rates, but maybe eventually it cracks and they have to pivot. That's when you can really load up. Don't get discouraged, the big moves are coming. Just gotta ride out the storm, or better yet, bet on the storm itself!
