Took a quick long position on GBPUSD earlier around 1.3355. Scalp trade, targeting 1.3370. Got stopped out at breakeven. Was expecting a bit more momentum after that initial push, but it fizzled out pretty quick. Gotta be quicker on the draw next time.

Update: Looking back at the charts, I think my entry was premature. Should've waited for a better confirmation signal. RSI was still hovering around 50, no clear indication of bullish divergence on the lower timeframes. Classic case of FOMO getting the better of me. Need to stick to the plan and not jump the gun. Next time, I'll wait for the H1 candle to close above the 20 SMA before entering. Plus, the overall trend is still bearish on the D1 chart, so going long was probably a counter-trend trade to begin with. Risky business, tbh.
