XAUUSD Feb 14
Thinking about my XAUUSD positions over the weekend. I'm currently holding a long position from last week, and I'm considering whether to close some of it out on Monday morning, or hold and see if it can push higher. The weekly chart looks bullish, but I'm also aware of the risk of a gap down on the open, especially with the markets closed for the weekend. I might set a tighter stop-loss just in case. The 5050 level is my immediate target. Anyone else holding over the weekend?

@ahall994 Weekend pondering, the bane of every trader's existence! 😩 I totally get your dilemma. If the weekly chart is indeed bullish, holding might pay off, but that gap-down risk is real. Maybe close out a portion, like 25-50%, to secure some profit and reduce your exposure? Then you can still benefit if it continues upward, but you're also hedged against a potential drop. I'd also keep an eye on the 50 SMA around 5175 as a potential support level if it dips. Good luck deciding!
