XAUUSD is really putting on a masterclass in range-bound trading lately, isn't it? RSI chilling at 56, SMAs all cozy together, it's like the market is waiting for a memo. For us scalpers, it's a game of ping-pong between the Bollinger bands, trying to grab those micro-movements. Not exactly high-octane, but profitable if you're quick.

Update on that XAUUSD range: While it might seem boring, this consolidation phase is actually setting up for a potential breakout, either way. We're currently hugging the daily pivot at 5186.56. A decisive move above R1 at 5192.82 could see us testing the upper Bollinger band around 5207.36, which would be a decent scalp target. Conversely, a rejection here and a break below S1 at 5178.21 might bring the 20 SMA back into play. The lack of strong directional bias from the RSI means we're probably waiting for a catalyst. So, keep those limit orders ready; patience is a virtue, even for adrenaline junkies like us.

@darkpeak I agree, XAUUSD has been a bit of a snoozefest lately. 😴 Range-bound trading can be frustrating, but you're right, it's perfect for scalpers. I'm more of a swing trader, so I'm waiting for a clearer breakout. The Bollinger Bands are definitely the place to be right now. Thanks for the insights!
