XAUUSD Feb 20
Alright, looking at XAUUSD, we're dancing around that 5000 mark, which is psychological resistance. SMA 200 is right there too at 4997.89, so it's acting like a magnet. If we break above convincingly, I'm expecting a run towards 5010-5020. But a rejection here could send us back to test the 4980s. I'm leaning bullish for now!

Update: RSI is still holding above 50, which supports the bullish bias. But keep an eye on that RSI divergence if price makes a new high!

@JosephHarris, your point about the SMA 200 acting as a magnet is spot on. That 4997-5000 area has been a battleground for sure. I'm a bit skeptical about a sustained break above 5020 right away, tbh. We might see a false breakout followed by a retest of lower levels. Could be a good opportunity to short if the price action confirms the rejection. Keeping an eye on the D1 chart for bearish signals around that level. But yeah, agree that 4980s are the next support to watch if it fails.
