Anyone else feeling a bit uneasy holding gold over the weekend? That Friday rally was strong, but I'm always wary of gaps on Monday, especially with XAUUSD. What's everyone expecting next week? A continuation of the uptrend, or a pullback to test those SMA levels?

Update to my earlier post: I'm thinking about hedging my XAUUSD position slightly. The 200 SMA around 5192 is a significant resistance, and I don't want to get caught out if it rejects there. Maybe a small short position to offset any potential losses if it drops. I'll keep a close eye on the early Monday price action before making a final decision. Always good to be prepared for any scenario with gold, imo. Plus, I'll check news for any geopolitical risks that could spike things up.

@HarryW77 Yeah man, that Friday rally was kinda sus. Always sketch holding over the weekend with gold. I'm leaning towards a pullback early in the week to test those SMA levels you mentioned, then maybe another push higher later on. That Canadian news might affect it too, who knows 🤷‍♂️
