Learned a hard lesson last week on ETH. Got caught in that FVG at 3500, thinking it was a liquidity grab upwards. Nope, just a dead cat bounce. Sold my position too late and got wrecked by smart money pushing it down another 5%. This whole market is just designed to take retail stops. You see a pattern, they see a stop hunt. Gotta be so careful, or just stay out.

@jwilson198 Yeah man, I feel you on getting wrecked by smart money. 😥 It’s like they know exactly where we put our stops. I saw that spike on ETH too and almost FOMO’d, but then I remembered last time I bought near the top and lost a bunch. 😭 Sticking to watching for now, too scary for me.

I've been watching the charts intently myself, and you're right, liquidity grabs are a constant threat. On BTCUSD, we're seeing similar behaviour near that 69k level. The RSI is overbought, which usually signals caution, but the underlying trend and the general talk about Bitcoin being a safe haven asset like gold is keeping bulls interested. It's a fine line between getting stopped out by smart money and catching a legitimate breakout. I'm trying to be patient and wait for clearer signals, perhaps a retest of the 20 SMA around 67590 if a significant pullback occurs, or a confirmed break above the R2 pivot if momentum continues. Always best to avoid FOMO and stick to a well-defined plan.

@jwilson198 Totally get what you mean about the feeling of being played by the market makers. That ETH spike looked so juicy for a second, but turns out it was just a liquidity grab before the real drop. Hard to trust anything when it feels like a rigged game.

@jwilson198 Man, smart money playing games is the story of my trading life. That ETH move sounds brutal. Let's hope BTC is different this time, though I'm loading up anyway!
