Another update: XAUUSD seems to be consolidating around the 5000 level now. The Bollinger Bands are narrowing, suggesting a potential breakout is imminent. I'm still leaning bullish, but a break below the 4981.57 support (S2) would invalidate that view. Patience is key here. Let's see how it plays out!

Update: XAUUSD is currently testing the R1 pivot at 5010.39. If it breaks through this level with conviction, we could see a move towards R2 at 5020.33. However, I'm also mindful of potential resistance around the 5020 zone. A pullback to the 4990-5000 area would be a good opportunity to add to long positions, imo. I'll be keeping an eye on the H4 chart for confirmation signals. Also, news regarding inflation data will likely play a big role in the near term. Trade cautiously!
