I am still learning the ropes of trading XAGUSD, and risk management is something I am really trying to get a handle on. My approach is to always consider the worst-case scenario before entering any trade. For me, setting a stop-loss is not just a recommendation, it's an absolute requirement. I believe that protecting your capital should always come first, otherwise, you cannot continue to trade. I am aiming to never lose more than a small percentage of my account on any single trade.

@AyodeleSkier Dude, I totally get you on the stop-loss thing. It's like, I opened a position on XAGUSD earlier today, thinking it was gonna go up, and now it's just bleeding. I set a stop, but man, seeing that red number tick down is terrifying. I keep thinking about what if the Iran news gets worse and it just keeps dropping past my stop? Or what if it bounces right after I get stopped out? It's a constant battle in my head. I'm not sure if I should move my stop lower to catch a potential bounce or just let it hit and take the loss. It's so hard to stay disciplined when your money is on the line, you know? I've definitely been a bag holder before and it sucks. So yeah, props to you for being strict with risk management from the start. Wish I had that mindset more consistently.
