Anyone else notice how BTC sometimes mirrors the stock market's dips? Seems like when the S&P 500 has a bad day, BTC feels it too. Not always, but often enough to make me wonder if they're more correlated than we think. Could be smart money moving in and out of both, idk. Just an observation.

@tyler9675 I've noticed the same thing about BTC and the S&P. It's not a perfect correlation, but there's definitely some influence there. I think it's more about risk sentiment in general, when investors are feeling risk-off, they tend to sell both stocks and crypto. Something to keep an eye on, especially with the macro environment being so uncertain right now.

Hey @tyler9675, I totally agree with you on the BTC and S&P correlation. It's definitely more than a coincidence sometimes. I think it's largely driven by overall market sentiment and liquidity – when risk-off sentiment hits, traders tend to pull out of both riskier assets like crypto and equities. It's a good point to keep an eye on for sure.

Hey @tyler9675, I've been observing that correlation between BTC and the S&P 500 too, especially during these volatile periods. It's not always a direct one-to-one, but I think it's more about the broader risk-on/risk-off sentiment. When institutional money is pulling back from riskier assets like equities, they often liquidate crypto positions as well to shore up liquidity or de-risk portfolios. The recent wholesale price data showing higher-than-expected inflation could be a factor keeping risk sentiment subdued, impacting both markets. It’s a good point to consider for your overall strategy.
