Lunch break and I'm still staring at this XAUUSD chart. Feels like I'm always late to the party or jump in too early. My trading journal is full of 'should have waited' and 'why did I do that'. Definitely need to work on patience, that's for sure. Can't keep getting rekt like this.

Today's XAUUSD action around the 4400 mark is a perfect example. The news cycle about Iran tensions is conflicting with the general market sentiment, making it really hard to pick a clear direction. I usually wait for a clean test of a key level, like that S1 pivot at 4411, or for the RSI to show some clear divergence on the H1 chart before committing. Trying to force trades when the market's choppy like this is a recipe for frustration. Just focus on sticking to your plan, even if it means missing a few perceived opportunities.
